About Me

Stained glass started out as a hobby when I retired from Active Guard Reserve status in 1997. As I honed my craft, I began creating military-themed designs for friends and family.

Encouraged by the reception these pieces received, I started Memories in Stained Glass in 2007. All pieces contain primarily Spectrum or Bullseye Art Glass, and the colors have painstakingly been selected to best represent the corresponding award, decoration or insignia. In 2008, I expanded to etching glass, which allows me to personalize or add details that might not otherwise be possible. My husband, Vern, does all the framing.

Memories in Stained Glass is a home-based business whose market area is primarily Fort Huachuca, AZ and the surrounding communities. Although my main focus is military-themed patterns, as you can see from my samples, I am always happy to explore other representations.
